FirstJoy has been faithfully serving its clients since 2005 to provide talent development and employee engagement solutions to help corporations to see behavioural change and results to improve personal, team and organizational performance. The team of experienced trainers and consultants have since trained thousands of executives and professionals across the region in South East Asia. “FirstJoy is the only Happiness at Work Survey Practitioner in Malaysia and Singapore. In 2014, FirstJoy was certified as a ‘Happiness at Work Survey Practitioner’ by Happiness Works in the UK. This certification enables FirstJoy to work with organizations who want to embark on employee well-being and retention, as well as improving customer service, teamwork and communication. Even though FirstJoy has its roots and accomplishments in the IT industry, it has today trained major corporations with global presence and achievements across different industries in Malaysia and the region.
Daniel Lee and Angeline Yong are the founders and the face of FirstJoy.
Daniel started his corporate career as a lawyer working in corporate litigation and intellectual property. Angeline on the other hand, has always been in education and training; having worked for two multinational corporations in the IT industry.
Both have different personalities and strengths but share the same passion and mission. They are both truly passionate about helping people to develop and grow.
Both Daniel and Angeline believe that they have an important job to do and that is to help to “establish and restore the joy of work”.
They aim to help others to…
• enjoy the work that they do;
• live in their strengths daily;
• add value by looking for ways to be of service to the people around them &
• understand that “Work is Good and that work is an expression of worship to our Creator”. Therefore, our work should be excellent!
